We are currently making biomorphic forms in 3-D Art, and I decided to make forms reminiscent of cacti, because I have several cacti and felt that recreating them was an expression of my inner self.

I am someone who used to do a lot of sewing when I was younger, and still enjoy it. I remember spending time hand sewing projects using patterns from a book I had, or doing embroidery that I never seemed to be happy with. Sewing anything reminds me of these times, and it was nice to go back to them, in a way, with this project. I am also someone who does not often like to have idle hands - as referenced by sewing and other hobbies I’ve undertaken. I can imagine this project as something I might play with during online class, where no one would be able to see.
