Sam Graf is the head coach of the TCGIS Math Team. As a kid, Herr Graf struggled with math and saw very little intersections with his passion for art and the natural world. After leaving school, Graf was introduced to competition math and recreational mathematical puzzles. These became gateways to the kinds of problems and motivating questions that dot the mathematical landscape outside of the classroom. His relationship with the subject was transformed.
