Here at Georgia Southern's Manufacturing Engineering Department we have a variety of equipment for your advanced material needs. Material science equipment for materials research and characterization includes metals, plastics, composites, and ceramics. Samples for metallographic and other examinations are processed and prepared. Examinations for microstructure and macrostructure are performed and linked to the fabrication processes and determine the properties in materials research.
