His research interests include material testing and evaluation with an emphasis on Nondestructive Testing (NDT) techniques, Structural Health Monitoring (SHM), Predictive and Preventive Maintenance, Smart Manufacturing, and in-line quality monitoring and control for manufacturing processes. He is the director of “Metrology and Nondestructive Testing Laboratory” (https://www.mndt-lab.com/) with state-of-the-art research on application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning on material testing and NDT, automated NDT, and Internet of Things (IoT) for NDT 4.0.
LANDTIE
Exploring the Wonders of Science
The Laboratory for Advanced NonDestructive Testing, In-situ monitoring and Evaluation (LANDTIE) is a research lab in Department of Manufacturing Engineering at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, GA. The lab was founded in 2018 with a focus on research projects on Nondestructive Testing and Evaluation, In-line monitoring, and Metrology for Advanced Manufacturing and Materials. We are proud to have created a creative, collaborative, and open-minded lab environment where each member both offers and receives support from one another.
