Pulmonaria officinalis
Description
Native to Europe, Pulmonaria officinalis is known for its clusters of tubular flowers that change color from pink to blue as they age. Its common name, lungwort, came from Medieval herbalists who believed the plant could treat lung diseases. Its spotted leaves resemble diseased human lungs.
