The Interventions for Managing Parenting and Cancer Team (IMPACT) and our Family Circle program by Elizabeth's Smile are specifically designed to support parents with cancer and their families during their cancer journey.
Led by Dr. Kenneth Tercyak, we are a team of health professionals at Georgetown University Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center and MedStar Health who are dedicated to the supportive care needs of parents with cancer.
IMPACT and Family Circle work in collaboration with MedStar's Palliative Care, Psycho-Oncology, and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry services to meet the psychosocial care needs of families impacted by cancer.
