Out of Sync is a story about love: the love between a mother and a daughter, with a cybernetic twist. KAT, a Bay Area high school senior that just got into the college of her dreams across the country, struggles to convince her mother that she is capable of living so far away alone. With the help of her best friend, she uses an identical robot named SUKI to stand in her place, the daughter her mother always wanted. This show explores the relatability of a high-school coming of age story and the heartache of letting go of someone you love in a humorous, robot-powered way.
