Palestine Remembered is the largest Palestinian online community. It provides a detailed recount of the history of every single Palestinian village of historic Palestine, and include important resources such as rare pictures, historic maps, and oral histories. You can also find information on the lost and ethnically cleansed villages of Palestine.
The Institute for Palestine Studies (IPS) is the most reliable source of information and analysis on the Question of Palestine. The Institute publishes three quarterly journals, the Journal of Palestine Studies, Jerusalem Quarterly, and Majallat al-Dirasat al-Filastiniyya (in Arabic). As Georgetown students, we have access to articles from the journals through the library's website. IPS has also published over 800 books, monographs, occasional papers, and documentary collections and have their own blog titled Palestine Square.
The Palestinian Oral History Archive is a project to digitize, index, catalog, preserve, and provide access (through a searchable digital platform) to an archival collection of around 1,000 hours of testimonies with first generation Palestinians and other Palestinian communities in Lebanon. POHA documents the life stories of Palestinians residing in refugee camps and different communities in Lebanon. Furthermore, the collection contains life narratives of the pre-Nakba period in pre-1948 Palestine, folktales and songs, as well as stories of the women in Ein el-Helwe camp after its destruction in 1982.
