IMPORTANT!! We currently have an open call for designers. If you're interested in designing a piece for the Trashion Show, please fill out our interest form here!
The Trashion Show is a runway to display designs made of repurposed materials that would normally become waste. It's a celebration of sustainability, creativity, and fashion hosted by GREEN, Added to the File, and Georgetown REUSE!
we want to
to repurpose materials in creative new ways
we want to
to rethink the impact of single-use materials
Want to be a designer?
Create a garment out of any materials you want and your design will be featured in the show! There will be prizes for the designs that are the Most Creative, Most Technically Skilled, Audience Favorite, and an Overall Winner. Fill out our designer interest form so we know you want to design, and see the For Designers page for more info!
What if I don't know how to make a design?
No worries! We can help you brainstorm ideas and collect materials, and we'll be hosting some workshop hours so everyone can work on their designs together.
Want to be involved in some other way?
We'll be looking for models to wear the outfits, emcees to narrate the show, helpers to make sure the show runs smoothly, and more! Fill out our general interest form to be added to our email list.
Please reach out to Katie (kem376@georgetown.edu) or Charlotte (cg1451@georgetown.edu) with any questions or ideas!
