In addition to our documentation effort, our team is working with the Awutu Literacy Foundation to develop written materials on the language. We hope that by bringing awareness to the language, producing materials for use in the community, and training community members in linguistic fieldwork, the Awutu language will begin to thrive once again, with the ultimate goal of it no longer being considered endangered.
