Stuveco is the faculty student council of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEB). We represent every student in our faculty and make sure your voice is heard. Our student representatives sit on the various councils and committees where, together with professors and assistants, we help govern the faculty. We stand up for your interests and put problems on the agenda. Think about pleading for strong lecturers, fair exams, sufficient support and good student facilities.
As a member of Stuveco you get a unique chance to actively help improve student life within your programme or year. You can raise the issues that are on your fellow students' minds and look for concrete solutions together with others. Our regular general assemblies deal with current topics such as lecture recordings, the modular system, reforms to the academic calendar and the running of our Discord server. Together we set out the position of the FEB student, and make sure your voice is heard. Our general assemblies are open to every student of the faculty. Everyone is welcome to drop by and find out how it all works. At the bottom of this page you will find the agenda for the next meeting.
Alongside these meetings, student participation is called upon every year in a range of committees. These committees take important decisions that directly affect student life, which makes it essential that the student voice is represented there too. As a committee member you carry that responsibility: you defend your fellow students' interests and make sure their perspective is taken into account in policy.
If you take on the role of year representative, you fulfil a dual function. On the one hand you are the point of contact for the students in your year: they can come to you with questions, concerns or problems. Fortunately you do not have to solve these on your own. You work in close contact with Stuveco's Board, which supports you in this. On the other hand you act as a bridge between students and professors, making sure communication flows smoothly in both directions and that students' needs are genuinely heard.
More information will follow, get in touch if you have any questions!
You will find them on the Discord servers, along with a great many useful tips and tricks from the students who came before you:

During our office hours you will find us in the room in the foyer of the Tweekerken Campus. Feel free to drop in for a chat, a question, or simply to say hello!
