As we begin the summer break we want to remind parents that we will be having our Seamless Summer Meal Program beginning on Monday, June 7th. We will be serving breakfast and lunch at the Gentry Intermediate School Cafeteria and any child 18 years old and younger can eat meals at no cost, even if they are not a Gentry Schools student. This is a great program for our community and we hope to see your students there!

Monday thru Friday - June 7th thru July 30th

Breakfast Meal Serving Time: 8:00AM - 9:30AM

Lunch Meal Serving Time: 11:30AM - 1:00PM

Dine-In or Carry-Out

(Meal prices for adults are $2 for breakfast & $3.75 for lunch)

Volunteer Banner

At this time, we plan to welcome volunteers back to our buildings. Volunteer training for those who wish to volunteer at a school in the 2021-22 school year will be held on the following dates and times:

August 2, 2:00 pm

August 3, 5:00 pm

August 4, 10:00 am

Training will be held at the Gentry Career and Technical Education building at 1121 Swepco Road.

All volunteers must have a current background check on file and participate in the volunteer training. If you do not have a current background check* on file already, you will receive instructions on how to obtain one at this training.

*If you submitted a background check in the past and were placed on the approved volunteer list, you do not need to submit another one at this time.

STEM Camp!

Gentry High School is pleased to present its first ever STEM Camp! Do you have kids that are interested in the changing world of Computer Science? Do your kids want to meet professionals in the Computer Science field? Does building robots sound like a fun experience? Sign your children up for our one day STEM Camp on August 3rd. All other information is posted on the attached flyer. Entry is $50 per child. All campers will receive instruction from current high school robotics team members and leave with their very own memorabilia from the event and other goodies!

How do I sign up?

In order to secure a t-shirt, please bring the paper form attached and ALL of your camp fees to Emily Hodges at the high school office by July 15th. On-line Sign ups are available, but no online payment method is currently available. Money will be accepted at the entrance on the day of the camp for on-line and later sign ups, but no t-shirt is guaranteed for day-of sign ups. Those needing a t-shirt will need to refer to the first option.
