The Arkansas Public School Choice Act annual student transfer timeline is now open. The legal deadline for submission is May 1, 2019. Information is available online at the following link:
Applications are approved on a first come/first served basis. It is recommended, but not legally required, that the forms be filed in person at the non-resident district to be date stamped upon receipt. Requests for transfers into the Gentry District should filed with the Central Office at 201 S. Giles, Gentry AR 72734.
Gentry Public Schools District (Gentry SD) is pleased to announce that we have received approval from the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) to offer Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI) when the district must close school due to inclement weather, or exceptional situations.
AMI days will allow our students to work on designated lessons while at home and the AMI day will be counted as a regular school day. It will not require a make-up day at the end of the school year.

Lunch applications can be filled out at any time and have benefits for families and the school.
Lunch applications are available in the office at each campus.
A new lunch application should be filled out each year.
The Gentry School Board's regular meeting occurs the third Monday of each month and is held at the Pioneer Activities Center at 1159 Pioneer Lane.
The meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
