Our BCBA chooses an assessment that best fits the individual's needs and determines what skills need to be focused on. A treatment plan is developed using goals derived from the assessment results.
The goals include important skills needed for daily living and communication with others. Manding, community safety, gross and fine motor, and adaptive living are all examples of various skills focused on during sessions.
"Why does my child behave that way?" We can help determine the function of a particular challenging behavior in order to decrease it. We then implement evidence-based interventions, collect data on the effectiveness, and educate caregivers on the plan.
Caregiver education takes place simultaneously with one-on-one therapy with the child. What becomes effective for the child is shared with the parent in order to promote progress and support. Parent training is foundational in effective ABA services.
We collaborate with all professionals in your child's service team, including schools, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, and doctors. Contact us to learn more about our team approach. We are contracted with most major insurance companies.
