Students in Grade 11 will start taking the ACT. Students in Grade 10 will take the preACT Secure, and students in Grade 9 will take the preACT 9 Secure.
More information will follow as the state makes this transition. Here is what we know so far.
Sending ACT Scores
If you have not yet had ACT sent to any schools, you will need to have your scores sent using the Score Submission Form, if you'd like to use your four free score sends.
Students will need their Student Code when sending scores if you'd like to utilize the free sends. If you are willing the pay the $19 fee per school, you can just send the scores via their My ACT account.
If your student created their MyACT account using the Student Code, you should have all the information you need to have scores sent to schools.
If your student does not have a MyACT account, they will need to pick up a form from the Counseling Department which lists their Student Code.
If you have any questions about this process, please reach out to Katy Taylor at 309-945-0307 or ktaylor@geneseoschools.org.
