Mrs. Anselmi earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing with a minor in Merchandising and Spanish from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Prior to working at GHS, she worked in the East Moline School District for over four years and the construction industry for six years. Mrs. Anselmi is a GHS alumni and is happy to be back at GHS!

Mrs. Lavine  attended University of Wisconsin - La Crosse from 2014 - 2017 where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Spanish. She worked in Human Resources for 3 years before continuing her education at Western Illinois University from 2021 - 2024, earning a Master’s degree in School Counseling. She worked as a school counselor 2 years prior to GHS and is thrilled to be back to her alma mater!

Mrs. Taylor attended Eastern Illinois University from 2008 - 2012 where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with the Middle School option.  She continued her education at Eastern Illinois University from 2013 - 2015, earning a Master’s degree in School Counseling.  She worked as an elementary school counselor for seven years before beginning at GHS.

Mrs. Taylor is the Black Hawk College liaison, helping students navigate the many dual credit options GHS has to offer.

Mr. Ioerger earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Communication from Augustana College in 2023 and his Master's Degree in Counseling from Bradley University in 2026. Prior to coming to GHS, he completed his practicum and internship at Metamora Township High School. Mr. Ioerger has a passion for athletics and is excited to coach at GHS!
