Mrs. Anselmi earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing with a minor in Merchandising and Spanish from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Prior to working at GHS, she worked in the East Moline School District for over four years and the construction industry for six years. Mrs. Anselmi is a GHS alumni and is happy to be back at GHS!

Mrs. Lavine  attended University of Wisconsin - La Crosse from 2014 - 2017 where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Spanish. She worked in Human Resources for 3 years before continuing her education at Western Illinois University from 2021 - 2024, earning a Master’s degree in School Counseling. She worked as a school counselor 2 years prior to GHS and is thrilled to be back to her alma mater!

Mrs. Taylor attended Eastern Illinois University from 2008 - 2012 where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with the Middle School option.  She continued her education at Eastern Illinois University from 2013 - 2015, earning a Master’s degree in School Counseling.  She worked as an elementary school counselor for seven years before beginning at GHS.

Ms. Buysse earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Western Illinois University in 1992 and her Master's Degree from Illinois State University 1998.

Ms. Buysse is the Black Hawk College liaison, helping students navigate the many dual credit options GHS has to offer.
