- A.M.: The label for times from midnight to just before noon
- Centimeter (cm): A metric unit for measuring length or distance; there are 100 cm in 1 m
- Elapsed Time: The amount of time that passes from the start of an activity to the end of that activity.
- Gram (g): A metric unit for measuring mass; there are 1,000 g in 1 kg
- Kilogram (kg): A metric unit for measuring mass
- Length: The measurement of the distance between two points
- Liter (L): a metric unit for measuring liquid volume
- Liquid Volume: The amount of liquid in a container
- Mass: The amount of matter in an object
- Meter (m): A metric unit for measuring length or distance
- Midnight: 12 o'clock in the nighttime (12:00 A.M.)
- Minute: A unit used to measure short amounts of time; in one minute, the minute hand moves from one mark to the next
- Noon: 12 o'clock in the daytime (12:00 P.M.)
- P.M.: The label for times from noon to just before midnight
