Hi families,
Since school is on hold, we wont be able to do our annual research video project the exact way it's always done. One of the things we value is our 6th grade art students researching a famous artist. We have a document on google classroom for students to research biography info on a famous artist. It's a fun activity that kids really enjoy. All they need to do is fill out the graphic organizer on google classroom. Thats it. The goal is exposing them to a famous artist and seeing their work.
Before school was "paused" I assigned each student an artist to research. They don't need to worry about that list anymore They are welcome to choose any artist from the list below. (Or if theres a favorite you don't see on the list, email me and let me know, and I can let you know if its ok robantonucci@geneseocscd.org)
When these are completed I can send additional drawing projects I have prepared, but I'd like them to complete this first. So, when you complete the artist project, let me know and I'll send three video tutorials I made for you.
