Each Blueprint unit consists of three types of lessons: level 1, level 2, and level 3.
Level One- Foundation lessons are designed for one class period. The lessons are quick builds to introduce students to engineering concepts.
Level Two- Exploration lessons are designed for one to two class periods. Open-ended builds with some support that explore engineering concepts in depth.
Level Three- Creation lessons are designed for up to one week of class time. Open-ended builds using the engineering design process to serve as an end-of-unit project.
Educator's Guide Book- This guide will walk you through Blueprint's features and best practices for your classroom.
Challenge Cards- Engaging challenges that introduce students to Blueprint and help students with the design process.
CAD Guide- This guide will help you get started in implementing CAD into your classroom using Blueprint. Includes tips for using different CAD software with Blueprint, instructional videos to help you get started, and links to models of all Blueprint content builds.
3D Printer Support Guide- This guide provides tips to enhance Blueprint builds with 3D printed parts.
It is the teacher's responsibility to be sure that every kit is repackaged with all components in the right location in the box. If something is missing or damaged, attach a sticky note to the lid of the box and leave out. The Sphero Blueprint kits should be left ready for the next teacher to use with their students.
