Ozobots are small, line-reading robots that introduce students to the fundamentals of programming. The Ozobot has sensors that can scan lines and colors, enabling even young students to code their Ozobot to perform simple movements and speeds. Ozoblockly allows older students to code their Ozobot in a different way, using blocks of code to complete more advanced challenges.

Draw wide lines (¼”), color codes as part of the path - not on top of the black line, and no closer than ¾” before intersection. If there is no code, the Ozobot will randomly select a path
Code stickers make adding color codes easier, you can buy or print your own - link to folder below
For transfering code from computer or Chromebook - be sure brightness is up all the way & 1st. reset Ozobot as directed

Create a map of your fairy tale for Ozobot to travel. Create a script to read aloud and code that corresponds to your story.
When simply using black lines without code, Ozobots will randomly turn at intersections, creating some opportunities to explore probability. By adding some line codes, you can change the probability of an outcome.
