Message from Senior Leadership

Dear Parents,

This week, we are thrilled to celebrate Reading Week at our school! It's a time dedicated to more than just flipping through pages; it's about unlocking the magic of words and opening doors to endless possibilities.

Throughout this special week, students have been engaged in various activities and competitions across the school, organised by the English Department. They have also presented and highlighted the importance of reading books in our lives during assemblies. Reading sparks imagination and creativity. As we dive into stories, our minds are transported to new worlds, inspiring us to dream and create.

As parents, your role in supporting your children with their reading is crucial for fostering a lifelong love of learning and literacy. Encouraging your child to participate in reading challenges or set reading goals can help them to improve their language and vocabulary skills.

We believe that Reading Week is not only a time to celebrate reading but also a time to cultivate a lifelong love of learning and literacy. By immersing ourselves in the world of books, we open doors to new adventures, ideas, and possibilities.

Have a lovely Weekend,

Nourhane Ausman

Director of Learning KS3
