As students look to plan their academic journey with the start of the new year, we wanted to share an exciting new opportunity with you. We are introducing the International Undergraduate Leadership Scholarship exclusively for international students who are applying to start an undergraduate degree program in the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies in September, 2021.

50 of these scholarships will be awarded this year, valued at $10,000 per year. The award is renewable for an additional three years of full-time undergraduate studies if students maintain a high academic standing each year, making the total possible funding $40,000 over four years.

The Fall/Winter 2021-2022 scholarship application is now open!

Important dates and information:

• A 9-digit York reference number is required, which students will receive within 5 business days of applying to York.

• Students are required to submit their application for undergraduate studies in Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies at York University by February 15, 2021 at 11:59:59pm, Eastern Time.

• Students should submit all required documents and ensure all document statuses show as “Received” in their MyFile application portal by March 4, 2021 at 11:59:59pm, Eastern Time.

• The online LA&PS International Undergraduate Leadership Scholarships Application should be completed and submitted by students on March 4, 2021 at 11:59:59pm, Eastern Time.

A Letter of recommendation is required:

• To be eligible for this award students must be nominated by their high school (only one student per school can be nominated).

• Students will be required to provide the nominee’s name, position, e-mail, and phone number from their school in the application form.

Successful applicants will be notified in May, 2021.
