Why We do Charity

You do not do charity to make yourself feel good. You should do charity to make your surrounding people’s lives worth living. By doing charity, you stay in touch with your humanity. It’s basic human nature, that if your action pleases someone or makes others happy, it will make you feel good too. However, that should never be the intent behind doing charity. As it would simply mean that you are trying to please yourself rather than genuinely helping out others who are in need and you can give more than money for charity for example : clothes , food , accessories , etc .
