CAS should involve:
Real, purposeful activities, which meet one or more of the 7 CAS Learning Outcomes;
Personal challenge --- tasks must extend the student and be achievable in scope;
Students use the CAS stages (investigation, preparation, action, reflection, and demonstration) to guide CAS experiences and projects;
You are expected to develop and maintain a CAS portfolio (using ManageBac). The CAS portfolio is a collection of evidence that showcases your CAS experiences and reflection on the learning outcomes. This includes thoughtful consideration, such as planning, reviewing progress and reporting on experiences;
Completion of CAS is based on your achievement of the seven CAS learning outcomes;
At least one of your CAS experiences should be a CAS project;
You should use the CAS Stages as a framework for CAS experiences and your CAS Project;
There will be three formal CAS interviews with your CAS advisor (tutor) which will emphasise reflection. This will inform your learning and growth by allowing you to explore areas for further development.
