Festival of Lights Celebration – Monday, October 27, 2025

We are excited to celebrate the Festival of Lights on Monday, October 27, 2025!
Students are welcome to wear their cultural outfits on that day if they wish.

Please note that Photo Day is also on Monday for some classes, so we ask that students of these classes to follow these guidelines:

* Students having their photos taken in the morning should come to school wearing their first dress uniform and bring their cultural outfit to change into after their photos (their uniform and their cultural outfit should be very well labelled in a separate bag).

* Students having their photos taken in the afternoon may come to school in their cultural outfit in the morning (if they wish) and can therefore change into their uniform after lunch (their uniform and their cultural outfit should be very well labelled in a separate bag).

Participation is completely optional.

School Photography 📸

Primary photos will commence on Monday, 27th October. In addition to being available for families to purchase, these photos will be featured in the yearbook. Students are required to wear the full GIS uniform, including black, as usual.
