The PYP lays the foundation for lifelong learning by nurturing our youngest learners as inquirers. Designed for children aged 3–11, the programme encourages exploration, curiosity, and voice, helping students make meaning of the world around them. Through a transdisciplinary approach and strong emphasis on the development of the whole child, the PYP fosters international-mindedness, personal well-being, and a sense of belonging within a caring learning community.

Programme of Inquiry
The Programme of Inquiry is the heart of learning in a PYP school. It brings together all subjects through six engaging, transdisciplinary themes that help students explore real-world issues and develop deeper understanding. Designed to foster curiosity, critical thinking, and global awareness, the POI ensures a balanced and connected curriculum from Early Years through Grade 5. Through inquiry, students make meaningful connections between what they learn and how they see the world — preparing them to become active, lifelong learners.
Grade Level Overviews
Our Grade Level Overviews provide a clear snapshot of the subject-specific learning goals for each year level. They outline the key knowledge, skills, and understandings students are expected to develop across all subject areas, including Language, Mathematics, Science, and more. Aligned with the English National Curriculum and the PYP framework, these overviews help families understand the learning journey and how each subject contributes to a well-rounded, inquiry-driven education.

PYP Exhibition
Learning in the Primary Years Programme (PYP) provides many formal and informal opportunities for students to develop, demonstrate and reflect on their knowledge, conceptual understandings, skills and learner profile attributes through the inquiries they undertake.
In the PYP exhibition, students demonstrate their understanding of issues or opportunities they have chosen to explore. They undertake their investigation both individually and with their peers, together with the guidance of a mentor. Through the exhibition, students demonstrate their ability to take responsibility for their learning—and their capacity to take action—as they actively engage in the ongoing process of planning, sharing and assessing learning.
The exhibition is a powerful demonstration of student agency, as well as the agency of the community that has nurtured them through their years in the PYP. The learning community participates in the exhibition, supporting and celebrating the development of internationally minded students who make a positive difference in their lives and the lives of others.
