Week Four - September 19th, 2025
Dear Parents,
Time is flying, and our school year is already in full swing! We are so grateful for the positive energy and support from our community.
We would like to share a quick overview of the upcoming events in the next few weeks:
Homeroom Parents’ Meeting – Monday the 22nd, 2025
Thank you to all the parents who expressed interest in being Homeroom Parents. The response has been overwhelming and so encouraging. As each class can only have two representatives, we did our best to give as many parents as possible the opportunity. We truly appreciate everyone’s willingness to be involved, and please know there will be many other opportunities throughout the year for parents to contribute and support our school community. The parents who are selected should receive an email today and are invited to attend the meeting on Monday at 9:00 am.
Back-to-School Information Sessions – Next Week
We are excited to welcome you to our Back-to-School Information Sessions that will take place in the Multi-Purpose Hall followed by a session in your child’s class.
These sessions will give you:
A snapshot of the curriculum and what your child will be learning this year.
Insight into special events and opportunities ahead.
Time in the classroom with your child(ren).

Please book a 20-minute appointment with your child’s homeroom teacher through the link that will be provided next week.
If you would like to meet with specialist teachers, you may also schedule a 10-minute slot using the same link.
Please note: There will be no school and no extracurricular activities on these two days.
Reminder New Drop-Off Procedures – Starting on Monday the 22nd, 2025
To help ease traffic and ensure the safety of our students, we are launching a new pilot drop-off process. Please take a few minutes to read the attached document carefully. Your cooperation and support will make a big difference as we work together to create a smoother and safer drop-off routine.
Transportation Reminder
If your child is not taking the bus to or from school, please notify both the homeroom teacher and the Service Delivery Executive (sde-gis@sts-group.com). Afternoon changes must be sent by 1:00 p.m. (Mon–Thu) and 10:00 a.m. (Fri). Buses leave promptly at 3:30 p.m. and cannot be delayed.
Bus Behaviour & Safety
For everyone’s safety, please drive slowly around campus and do not use phones while driving. We also ask all families to carefully review the Bus Behaviour Code of Conduct with their child: [Bus Behaviour Conduct Document].
It was lovely to meet some of our grade four parents today.
Looking forward to seeing you all next week.
Warmest regards,
Mirna Hafez-Farah
Head of Primary
Events and Updates
Parents have all received a notification to sign up for the Toddle platform. This is an exciting enhancement to our parent communication, and this year you will receive weekly updates through the Toddle platform.
This IB affiliated platform will offer opportunities for parents to remain up to date with their child's academic progress.
The below class pages will host resources for parents and will no longer have weekly messages. All information will be sent through Toddle, so please inform your class teacher if you have any trouble registering.
