Congratulations, once again, to Yassin who has recently achieved a remarkable milestone in his athletic journey. He won three Gold medals and has been officially announced as the Champion of the EurAsian Jiu-Jitsu Championship, held in Qatar. This is a significant international achievement and a reflection of his commitment, discipline, and excellence in sports.

We are thrilled to celebrate the incredible achievement of Yassin El Nemr, who brought home the gold medal at the prestigious Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Jiu Jitsu Championships last weekend! His dedication, discipline, and determination are truly inspiring and a testament to the strength of his character both in and out of the classroom. This is Yassin’s fifth gold medal championship in a row in 2025.
Yassin now sets his sights on the World Championships, and we’ll be cheering for him every step of the way!

22-23th: Omega Dubai Creek Amateur Open 2025 - 4th Place
25-27th: Faldo Series Junior Al Ain - 4th Place
30th: Titleist Dubai Creek Junior Open 2025 Registered — 1st Place (-1), gross category
April 2025
1-3rd: Robert Rock UAE Championship, Al Hamra — 1st Place (-9), gross category
4-6th Abu Dhabi Amateur Open - 1st Place, nett category
Topunov Arthur, Grade 9, in addition to his wins during competitions as a GEMS Jaguars swimming squad member, is also an avid alpine skier; in January 2025 he completed Class 3 for Teens and Adults in alpine skiing in French Ski School (ESF), with only one level remaining to the very top level. He is skiing across all types of slopes and off piste and has passed required exams for timed giant slalom, for jumps and speed skiing in snow parks, for short turns on most complicated black slopes and different types of snow.
"Topunova Victoria, Grade 6, is an avid alpine skier and in January 2025 she achieved Gold level in alpine skiing for children in the French Ski School (ESF). She successfully passed a timed mini giant slalom exam, exam in snow parks (jumps and speed skiing), she is able to ski on any type of snow without stopping on fairly steep slopes (black slopes).
Camille Muller, Grade 9, and her team recently participated in the UAE National Artistic Swimming Championship in Abu Dhabi. Camille's team finished in first place in their 'Youth' category! Camille and her team demonstrated exceptional skill and sportsmanship throughout the event. This achievement demonstrates their hard work, dedication, and talent. We're very proud of their efforts and achievements!
Sultan Kurdali from Grade 11 soared to victory as he was crowned 2024 Middle East Champion, showcasing unparalleled skill behind the wheel. Out of a staggering pool of 950 drivers, Sultan emerged triumphant, solidifying his status as a formidable force on the racing circuit. His remarkable achievement granted him entry to the highly anticipated World Finals, a stage where only the most elite competitors converge to vie for the coveted title of "World Champion." Steering with precision and finesse, Sultan navigated the tracks with AK Motorsport, a testament to his dedication and partnership with one of the premier teams in motorsport. As he geared up for the ultimate showdown on the global stage, Sultan's journey epitomized the relentless pursuit of excellence and the thrill of pushing boundaries in the pursuit of victory.
Congratulations to Marta Tuitunina for her outstanding achievement in the realm of show jumping! Marta demonstrated her remarkable skills and dedication as she triumphed, not once but twice, securing first place in two prestigious events at the Emirates Equestrian Club.
Marta's exceptional performance is a testament to her hard work, passion, and unwavering commitment to excellence. Her success not only reflects her talent but also serves as an inspiration to our entire school community.
In the month of February, Ishir Mehta achieved a remarkable feat by clinching the championship title at the S. Venkat Rao Memorial Tennis Tournament held at Lake View Tennis Academy in Hyderabad, India. Despite facing first-round losses in both singles and doubles competitions the week prior, Ishir's determination shone through as he secured victory in five consecutive matches to take the title. His journey to success serves as a reminder that it is not always a straight path, but rather marked by ups and downs. Congratulations, Ishir, on your resilience and perseverance in pursuing your goals!

8-10 December 2023 — 1st place in UAE World Amateur Junior Golf Championship Tower Links Golf Club (Under 13 years category);
15-17 December 2023 — Competing in UAE Amateur World Golf Championship in Al Hamra Golf Club (Under 18 years category)
19-20 December 2023 — 3 Place in US Kids Golf International Golf Championship Al Hamra Golf Club (Under 13-14 years category)

During the winter break, Ishir Metha played in the prestigious Habtoor Tennis Tournament which is organized at the season's end, in December.
Ishir participated in and won the U14 boys category. Ishir's award was presented by Sheikh Hasher Bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, President of Tennis Emirates.
