Week Twenty Two - March 1st, 2024
Dear Parents & Guardians,
Our Grade 10 students continued with their transition into Grade 11 this week when Ms Burcu and Mr Ged ran informative sessions about both the Career – related Programme (CP) and the Diploma Programme (DP). These sessions were followed with a Subject Selection Fair held today. The fair was led by our Grade 11 students, providing an opportunity for our Grade 10’s to engage with their older peers. They had the chance to inquire about each subject and to gain an insight about IB requirements, especially relating to both CP and DP core.
Today is the deadline for Grade 10 students to complete their online subject selection form, while 1:1 meetings will commence on Monday with the relevant Coordinator and/or Ms Meena. Should you have not submitted your son/daughter’s choices yet, I encourage you to do so, as places are filling up fast.
I would like to take this opportunity to invite our wider community to our school production of Matilda next week. If you have not secured your tickets yet, please do so, as seats are selling fast. A large number of our talented students have been practicing since September, whether it be on the stage in the limelight, or backstage preparing props, lighting and sound. It is gearing up to be a wonderful celebration of our students’ diverse talents. Good luck to all staff and students involved.
Have a wonderful weekend ahead.
Kind regards
Amanda Murphy
