SPARK WEEK 25/26
SPARK WEEK 25/26
8 - 12 June 2026
We are excited to share this year’s Middle School Spark Week experiences, taking place from June 8–12, 2026.
Formerly known as Week Without Walls, Spark Week is a signature DAA experience that ignites students’ curiosity, creativity, compassion, and confidence through immersive, hands-on learning beyond the classroom.
Our international trips focus on service learning, fostering empathy, social responsibility, and global citizenship. Students will give back to communities, explore new environments, and develop essential life skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and resilience. As these trips take place in regions where support and service are most needed, local facilities may differ from what we enjoy in Dubai—an intentional part of the experience that encourages adaptability, gratitude, and meaningful impact.
Our local trips provide equally engaging opportunities closer to home. Local day experiences are designed to be fully immersive within the school day, allowing students who ride the bus to participate without affecting their usual schedule. Local overnight experiences offer extended, immersive learning opportunities beyond the school day. All local experiences encourage creativity, curiosity, and collaboration as they explore the rich cultural, educational, and recreational opportunities right here in the UAE.
Through Spark Week, students grow as confident, compassionate global citizens, forming lasting friendships and unforgettable memories along the way.

EXPERIENCE SIGN-UPS
The Spark Week Experience Sign-Up Form will go live on Wednesday, November 5, and close on Tuesday, November 11.
Every parent must select their top three experiences for their child for Spark Week.
We will make every effort to honor students’ top preferences. If a trip cannot proceed due to low enrollment or logistical reasons, families will be contacted with alternative options.
The trips on offer provide a wide range of service, adventure, and cultural experiences, allowing every student to find something that sparks their curiosity and growth.
For international trips, visa requirements may apply. Trip providers will share details and guidance for each destination, and visa costs (if applicable) will be the family's responsibility.
Participation in Spark Week is mandatory for the DAA Middle School experience, and all students are expected to engage fully in this exciting week of discovery and learning.
CONDUCT & ELIGIBILITY
Participation in Spark Week experiences is a privilege and may be subject to review based on a student’s academic standing or behavioral record.
If a student violates the school’s Code of Conduct before departure, they may be removed from the trip, and some or all of the trip cost may not be refunded.
Should a student breach the Code of Conduct during a trip, parents will be required to collect their child at their own expense. No refunds will be issued in these circumstances.
For international trips, a 50% deposit is due by Friday, November 28, to confirm placement. Failure to pay this deposit on time may result in the spot being offered to another student.
For local trips, the full amount is payable by Friday, November 28.
TRIP PRICES
Please note that Spark Week trip prices are subject to change due to external factors beyond the control of our tour providers, such as fluctuations in flight costs, accommodation rates, or currency exchange rates.
While we work closely with providers to keep prices stable, meeting payment deadlines is essential. Late payments may lead to price increases, as providers are unable to hold rates for students who miss scheduled payment dates.
Trip pricing is based on a minimum of 20 participating students. If this minimum is not met, the trip may be subject to cancellation or price adjustment.
We strongly encourage all families to review the terms and conditions for each trip to understand the full pricing policy and any potential adjustments that may apply.
AIRLINES
Student safety and comfort are our top priorities when planning Spark Week international trips. We work only with reputable global airlines, giving preference to those within the Star Alliance network for their proven standards of quality and reliability.
To help keep trip costs manageable for families, we may occasionally select alternative airlines based on factors such as flight availability, scheduling, and destination access.
Rest assured, every airline we partner with meets our rigorous safety and reliability requirements. Our goal is to provide students with a safe, smooth, and high-quality travel experience while maintaining cost-conscious options for families.
