Our international experiences focus on fostering compassion, with two immersive options that allow students to give back, build empathy, and deepen their understanding of communities beyond their own.
Embark on an extraordinary journey to Kenya - a trip rooted in service, sustainability, and self-discovery. Students will explore Nairobi’s Karura Forest, one of Africa’s most vital urban green spaces, before traveling to Narok County for hands-on service at local schools. From planting 500 trees to setting up drip irrigation systems, each project builds resilience, sustainability, and cross-cultural teamwork.
The experience continues in the Masai Mara National Reserve, where students witness the Big Five on safari, share songs and stories with Maasai peers, and reflect under the starlit African sky. The journey ends with a visit to the Giraffe Centre in Nairobi, connecting learning to conservation.
This isn’t just a school trip—it’s an opportunity to serve, grow, and see the world through new eyes. (for any additional information related to this trip, please email travel@lushescapes.com)

In the hills of Kandy, students will restore classrooms and build a sanitation station at a local school—creating a lasting legacy that enhances learning and hygiene for the community. Meaningful interactions with local students, vibrant cultural exchanges, and reflection circles foster empathy and global understanding.
The adventure continues along the southern coast, where students engage in marine conservation—snorkeling coral reefs, visiting a turtle hatchery, and releasing baby turtles into the ocean. These experiences deepen respect for the planet and inspire a lifelong commitment to sustainability.
With visits to ancient fortresses, elephant sanctuaries, and Sri Lanka’s stunning coastal waters, this journey is more than a trip—it’s a powerful blend of legacy, learning, and impact.
