This is a volunteer-led international effort, born from genuine care and curiosity.

How it all came about
How it all came about
The idea of this edition came about back in 2023, when the first version of our guidebook was published. Olga Vtorushina (Yadryhynskaya), who is one of our long-time fellows, had family connections in Ukraine. Olga joined forces with two other independent consultants, Kristina Mirchuk in Spain and Viktoriia Oleshko in Ukraine, to think together. The idea grew quickly into a self-organized and self-publishing social learning & translation team. Oksana Oliynyk, working from Germany, joined as the main translator. Being a Program Coordinator at PA International Institute for Integral Development, she also has extensive experience translating books into Ukrainian on communication, development, cooperation, relationships, and interaction. Myroslava Kyrylchuk in Ukraine joined as the main editor, ensuring the depth and beauty of the Ukrainian language. She is a published author in Ukraine who gives children love for her native language. Samira Tymchenko in France gives the book its visual distinction. She is also an education expert, facilitator, trainer, and coach, working extensively with various communities.

Nataliia Orlova – an author and designer of educational programs, experienced facilitator, project manager, and co-leader at the Embassy of Ukrainian Senses.
Khrystyna Yablonska – a skilled facilitator, L&D Partner, university lecturer, learning strategist, and community leader of several internal CoPs at EPAM Systems.

Myroslava Tkachuk – a seasoned community manager, mentor, co-founder & CEO of Ukrainian Digital Community.
Alla Zhdan – a community consultant and co-organiser of MetaSpilnota.
Nataliia Halias – a PhD in Public Management and Administration, representing the scientific community.

Our vision

This project is both a translation and a testament to the power of community, care, and collaboration in uncertain times.
