Why this matters:
This project started with a simple question: Can we bring this guidebook to Ukrainian practitioners — in their language, and in their context?
From that moment, a diverse team came together — from Spain, Ukraine, Germany, France, Denmark — to co-create a fully localized Ukrainian edition. We translated the text, but also reimagined it: shaped by the needs, language, and lived experiences of Ukrainian community builders and knowledge practitioners.
Who made it possible:
Olga Vtorushina, Kristina Mirchuk, Viktoriia Oleshko, Oksana Oliynyk, Myroslava Kyrylchuk, Samira Tymchenko, Khrystyna Yablonska, Nataliia Orlova — supported by others in Ukraine and beyond.

Reading Circle (2025)
To accompany the Ukrainian edition, we launched a reading circle in April 2025.
It meets biweekly and is based on the Scandinavian videnscirkler tradition — where people read and reflect together.
Participants come from education, tech, public institutions, and civic organizations — exchanging how Communities of Practice are already present (or needed) in Ukraine.
If you understand some Ukrainian, you’re welcome to join the circle!
