Strategic Partnership: GEG Sudan & GDG University of Khartoum

Topic: National Empowerment through International Certification Announcement Date: April 2026

In a landmark collaboration, GEG Sudan partnered with GDG University of Khartoum to launch a nationwide initiative. This partnership aims to bridge the gap between local educators and international recognition, leveraging the technical expertise of the developer community and the pedagogical leadership of the educator group.

• The Mission: Providing Sudanese educators, academics, and students with the resources to obtain Google Certified Educator credentials at zero cost.

• Impact: Strengthening the digital ecosystem within the University of Khartoum and across Sudan’s educational institutions.

2. Intensive Boot Camp: Mastering Google Workspace for Education

Topic: Practical Training for Global Certification
Start Date: May 3, 2026
Platform: YouTube Live (Open Access)

This intensive training program was designed as a "fast-track" to professional excellence. The curriculum focuses on transforming how educators manage their digital environments and prepare for the Google Certified Educator (Level 1 & 2) exams.

Core Training Modules:

• Smart Classroom Management: Mastering Google Classroom, Drive, and Docs for a paperless and organized workflow.

• Creative Pedagogy: Integrating innovative tools like Google Sites, Google Earth, and Keep to create immersive and interactive lessons.

• Exam Readiness: 100% practical training based on real-world scenarios to ensure participants pass the global certification exams on their first attempt.

3. The "Global Opportunity" Initiative: Free Certification Vouchers

Status: Limited Time Offer (Ending June 2026) Target: Teachers, University Faculty, and Students

Recognizing the economic challenges, GEG Sudan highlighted a critical window of opportunity: Free access to Google Educator Level 1 & 2 exams (valued at over 150,000 SDG). This initiative was launched to ensure that financial barriers do not prevent Sudanese talent from achieving world-class accreditation.

• Call to Action: Encouraging educators to invest their time in May to become "Google Certified Educators" by June.

• Community Support: Participants were integrated into dedicated WhatsApp and Telegram mentorship groups for continuous technical support and peer-to-peer learning.
