Sport Sign-Ups & Tryout Information 

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

Each student must complete the following requirements prior to tryouts, in order to be eligible to participate on any Geffen Academy sports team:

• Student-Athletes must be cleared through the Athletic Clearance system [ www.athleticclearance.com ] for each sport, they wish to participate in/try out for each season.

• Be academically eligible according to the rules of the CIF and relevant league(s). Please note that CIF is a third-party organization and Geffen Academy does not administer or control its rules and regulations.

• Understand and follow all school and team policies with regard to attendance, conduct, attitude, and proper training habits.

• Student-athletes must have attended at least one [1] day of the Interest Days or Tryouts [recommended to attend all days].

  • For Middle School ONLY: Students must complete the commitment form by the end of interest week to confirm their participation in a sport.
