Geffen Academy Golf Program

About the Golf Program

Geffen Academy Athletics offers coed golf programs during the spring season. The program supports [2] High School Coed teams and [2] middle school coed [Blue & Gold] teams.
Varsity and JV at the High School Level [Grades 9-12] and Blue & Gold at the Middle School Level [Grades 6-8].

Middle school teams compete in the Pacific Basin League [PBL] which is made up of fifteen West Los Angeles-based independent schools.
High school teams compete in the Coastal League and the CIF Southern Section.

Interest Days [Middle School] for Coed Golf take place in mid-February, and the seasons get underway in February and conclude in May. Tryouts [High School] for Coed Golf and preseason training begin in early January.

PROGRAM DIRECTOR

The Coed Golf Program Director provides leadership, supervision, and organization for the Geffen Academy Golf Program. The Program Director schedules practices and competitions and supervises the entire coaching staff across the four competitive teams.

PRACTICE SCHEDULE

Varsity teams practice 4-days a week: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur. [4:00 - 6:00 PM] *Practice times may change day to day.

JV teams practice 3-days a week: Mon, Wed, Fri. [4:00 - 6:00 PM] *Practice times may change day to day.

Middle School [Blue & Gold] teams practice 3-days a week: Mon, Tue, Thur. [4:00 - 6:00 PM]*Practice times may change day to day.

*Game competitions typically occur on the same day as a practice day and replace practice on the schedule. Occasionally, when the schedule is beyond our control, we may have a competition on a non-practice day.
