Post a request in the Slack channel for your area (e.g. #boston-hosts). Include the day, date, and start time of the event. Be sure to @channel the posting so that everyone gets a notification to look.
Use the Host Contact Info tab of the spreadsheet to text/email your fellow hosts to arrange coverage.
If/once arranged, message Stefani Thomas on Slack and email alamo@geekswhodrink.com to let us know who is subbing.
If you are within a few days of the event, please email alamo@geekswhodrink.com to let them know that you need a sub. Still do steps 1 and 2 above, but please message us as you're starting your search.

If you're near another Alamo location (e.g. El Paso, Houson, St. Louis), it might be a franchise location that staffs its own movie party hosts. Questions? Email our team at alamo@geekswhodrink.com.
All feedback forms are reviewed by the Alamo Events team. They're following up with individual locations when you mention something going wrong (e.g. missing microphone, missing props/prizes, etc).
They won't always respond to you directly about the feedback simply because there's a lot of it.
If you do have feedback that you feel needs to be discussed, please feel free to reach out to Ren Weaver directly via Slack or at ren.weaver@drafthouse.com or to the GWD team at alamo@geekswhodrink.com.
Mostly no. Sometimes yes. Confused still?
No, you do not have to take pictures at most movie parties. Can you? Absolutely! And please have fun sharing them to social media. The show flow has hashtags and @ mentions for you to encourage audiences to use when sharing their pictures. Use the same ones. And remember, no pictures during the movie itself.
Occasionally, there are events where pictures are part of the show flow/responsibilities. We will let you know in advance.
Please take that directly to Ren Weaver via Slack or at ren.weaver@drafthouse.com or to the GWD team at alamo@geekswhodrink.com.
No! You always get two tickets when you're scheduled to host a movie party. When we schedule a trainee, Ren Weaver has an extra ticket set aside for the trainee. Trainees do not get a ticket for a guest.
If you or your guest need specific seating (e.g. your guest is in a wheelchair, the front row messes with your eyesight, etc.), please reach out in advance of your scheduled screening to alamo@geekswhodrink.com. We'll contact the Alamo team to make sure they set aside tickets that meet your needs.
In advance is key here. Please don't wait until the day of or day before the show if at all avoidable.

For the most part, no. There are limited instances and specific events where costumes or costume pieces are provided. When this happens, you'll see it addressed in the Show Flow.
In the feedback section (bottom) of your Feedback Form. If it's burning your brain while you're not hosting an event, send it to Ren Weaver on Slack.
