You have an incredible superpower that you might not even know about. That superpower is your ability to make a difference in your own and other people’s lives. NO MATTER YOUR AGE, you can lift each other up through your choice of words and/or actions.
Let’s put your superpower into action and participate in the CAN-uary challenges. Get it? CAN-uary: CAN U generate and spread immense January Joy in our community?
If spreading joy isn't enough incentive for you, all who participate will also be entered into our GRAND PRIZE DRAWING!!!! Prizes will be epic, you do not want to miss out on these!
You are invited to create a 30-second (or less) video of you (and friends/family) doing something or sharing something designed to bring joy, laughter and happiness to another Hopper. The video could be of you doing anything! You can find a list of ideas below and we encourage you to use your creativity. To make your video short & sweet, use the time-lapse feature on your camera to speed up longer I Can submissions.
Culinary skills: make a smoothie, chop an onion, bake/frost a cake, make a ridiculous dessert (gummy worm tacos)
Fun & games: excel in super smash brothers ultimate, jump rope, shuffle cards
Performing/Visual Arts: dance Hopper Renegade, family dance battle, sing, share a poem, play an instrument, lip sync, draw, paint, sculpt [time-lapse video], paint a person from upside down, read your own poetry or favorite six-word memoir
Humor: tell a joke, pet tricks (ex. get my dog to howl), do something helpful at home without being asked (make your bed, do laundry), hop on one foot while reciting the alphabet, make a cookie disappear
Special talents or skills: Dice Stacking, cookie face (move an Oreo from your forehead into your mouth without using your hands), juggle, trick shots, ride a unicycle, complete a Rubik's cube, do a cartwheel/round-off, somersault (backward/forward), make a free throw blindfolded, pick up things/draw with your toes, drink water backwards
