Art Week of May 11th

Click on the above link and another link will pop up. Click on that link and it will bring you to many different Painted Rock Projects you can enjoy. Use these to get inspiration. You do not need to purchase the kits. All you need for supplies are:

Rocks, Pencil, Paint (acrylic if you have it) Permanent Markers.

Step 1: Go outside (with parent or guardians permission) and search for lots of different size and shape rocks. Maybe you will find one that looks like a fish or animal or just a rock you love the shape of.

Step 2: Clean and dry rocks

Step 3: You may want to cover your rock with one color to start

Step 4: You can use a pencil to design what details you would like on your rock as a guide.

Step 5: Once dry add all the details you would like. If you are writing a message on the rock you may want to use permanent markers or paint markers (if parent and guardians allow you to use these materials).

Step 6: When finished your parents or guardians can spray a clear acrylic over them and they will last a long time. You could keep them, give them away as gifts or spread some kind words by placing them somewhere that lots of people can see them to make their day more cheery.
