Ways to Reserve Books:
In person at the Circulation Counter
OPAC Account (Librarian will set up Account upon inquiry)
Email your request to THSLIBRARY@GDOE.NET
Online form: Click here
If you reserved your books online, check your email for a notification.
Return the book by the due date. Borrow, READ, Repeat.

SAFE HANDLING BOOKS:
STEP 1:
You are free to Browse the Collection.
STEP 2:
Book caught your eye, take it off the shelf and begin reading :)
STEP 3:
If you want to borrow it, bring it to the Circulation counter.
STEP 4:
If you are finished reading the book, please Return it to the RED Cart.
*BOOKS THAT WERE HANDLED WILL BE SANITIZED BEFORE RE-SHELVED.
Multimedia equipment is available to Faculty in support of instruction and learning in the classroom and on campus. Library equipment is available for short and long term duration depending on the item and availability. Requests can be made by completing this FORM. Equipment is limited and cannot be guaranteed. Please be patient and allow time for processing transfer forms and preparation of equipment. The Librarian will notify faculty via email when equipment is ready for pick-up. The following equipment are available:
Multimedia Projector (ELA & Social Studies must request from Business office)
Multimedia Cart with attached Power strip
ELMO Document Camera
Television Mounted to Cart
PA System *Limited availability
Learning tools/devices are available to students in support of learning in the classroom and on campus. Learning tools are available for short and long term duration depending on the item and availability. Learning tools are limited and cannot be guaranteed. The following equipment are available:
Headphones with mics
Scientific calculators
Hot glue guns
Photocopying / Printing: Please ask for assistance if needed.
Black/white & Color printing is available (limited 10 pages) *No Solid background color, please use color paper instead. Send your request to: THSLIBRARY@gdoe.net
Lamination: Self-service; Requires 15 min. to heat the machine. Drop off service, pick up next day.
Supplies: Limited school supplies are available upon request.
Glue gun is available

*Safety Procedure: Please use hand sanitizer before and after use of the laptops; wipe surfaces carefully with cleaners and paper towels.
THS library has available laptops for use. All computers are equipped with Microsoft software and current antivirus.
Reminder: Students must submit their Student Handbook and Agreement for the Education Technology Use Policy 379 Agreement to their Homeroom teachers before accessing computers.
*Upon submission of the Education Technology Use Policy 379 Agreement, the user acknowledges they have read, understood and agrees to follow the policy when using a computer and/or electronic resources, leased or operated by the Guam Department of Education. The user further understands that any violation of the regulations that is illegal, prohibited, immoral and/or unethical may result in disciplinary actions taken, access privileges revoked, and/or appropriate legal action may be initiated.
REQUEST to Book/Reserve the library computer lab or multimedia area for class reservations for research, special events, activities, presentations, meetings, etc. during the school day. Requests will be responded to in the order they are received.
LIBRARY MEDIA CENTER
Multimedia Equipment (Library In-house Use):
The library is equipped with one Promethean Activboard, TV and multimedia projector to provide Presentation accommodations/services in the Library. Requests may be made in advance by emailing: THSLIBRARY@gdoe.net
Computer Lab/Internet Access:
Our library is equipped with 28 laptops with internet access. Teachers may request to reserve the computer lab for classes to do online research/assignments. Reservations are made in the order requests are received and can be made by completing the Library reservation online form on the Library website or by contacting the librarian, confirmation will be sent via email. Teachers must be present for their reservations and are expected to guide their students behavior appropriate to the library environment.
