Why Is School Like This?
Unfortunately, many people are getting sick from a virus right now. At school, one of our jobs is to keep you safe. We have worked really hard to come up with the best plan to keep you safe and to keep you learning. I know this is not how you were hoping school would be. I know I wish it would go back to normal, but I am excited you are here and I will do my best job to make this the best experience for you!
This year, our friends that are Traditional learners will be split into three groups (also known as Cohorts), an A Group, a B Group, and a C Group.

How Does Online Learning Look?
You will be assigned a GDOE email.
You will utilize Google Classroom to access lessons, check for assignments, and send completed assignments to their teacher.
You will attend Google Classroom meetings as scheduled by the teacher. One to three online, weekly meetings will be held for each subject.
Your teacher will provide instructional support via video conference, phone calls, or conferences at school on your assigned Cohort day and/or Fridays.

Due to Distance Learning, school will look a lot different this year until it is safe to go back to normal. Look at the chart to see what some of the new procedures and requirements are for Online Home Learning.
You will access curriculum and submit their work via the internet using Google Classroom.
You will be given a GDOE email. You will be expected to log onto Google Classroom Monday through Friday to check for assignments and complete those assignments by the specified due date.
You will attend Google Classroom meetings as scheduled by your teacher.
This is an all online option. You will utilize Google Classroom to access lessons and send completed assignments to your teacher.
Your teacher will be provide instructional support via phone calls or conference at school on Fridays.

Our schedule will look different this year. You will only be accessing and completing assignments online.
Monday - Friday: Log in and begin learning, by 2:45 pm on Friday all work is done for the week and turned in online.
