EMAIL ETIQUETTE

OHS Library email address is, ohslibrary@gdoe.net.  When using this email, consider some of the guidelines that are presented on the video.  Additionally, appropriate email etiquette involves including the necessary elements of a message, such as a clear subject line, greeting, closing, well-organized body paragraphs and proper language.  

As the librarian of Okkodo High School, I will only open and correspond to student(s) when you use your gdoe student email.  Personal email will be disregarded.  In addition, if printing is requested via email, please be specific with what is needed.  

Example:

• Quantity (at least 5 per day)

• One sided or back to back

• Black/White 

  • NOTE:  WHITE PHOTOCOPY PAPER IS USED ONLY!

If no instruction is given, document will be printed as is.  Also, there is a 24 hour turnaround for your request if there is no internet service delays.   I will email you back when copies are ready for pickup.  In addition, if the library is closed for reason(s) such as meetings, testing, or I am off campus, printing services will be unavailable.

      • EACH STUDENT CAN PRINT UP TO 2 PER DAY

***NOTE:  PERSONAL IMAGES FOR NON-SCHOOL RELATED ACTIVITY WILL BE SUBJECT FOR REVIEW AND QUESTIONED.  ALL RESOURCES PROVIDED BY THE LIBRARY IS FOR EDUCATIONAL USE ONLY!  ALSO, SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED ON AVAILABILITY OF SUPPLIES.
