Can I change my schedule?
A. Yes but only within the first 10 days at the beginning of the school year.
How many hours of service learning do we need in order to graduate?
A. A total of 75 hours. Please see your assigned counselor for more details.
Can I get service learning hours from anyone at any place?
A. NO! You must communicate with your current teachers on what you need to do to receive service learning hours.
How many credits do we need in order to graduate high school, and what path?
A. A total of 24 credits. Please see your assigned counselor for more details.
What rank am I in my class?
A. The counselors are unable to give that information. Only the principal has the approval to release that information. Please make an appointment to meet with the principal.
How can I make an appointment to communicate with my counselor?
Online Model: Just email your counselor and he/she will be able to assist you.
FTF Model: Always get the permission of your teacher. A hallway pass is also mandatory. The counseling office is also open during break and lunch. We encourage you to make an appointment for future meetings.
Packet Model: Send a note to your teacher via your packet and your teacher will contact us.
Can I talk to my counselor about personal problems other than Academics?
A. Yes. You may always to talk to your counselor about personal issues. Please be aware that the counseling department has to abide by laws, board policies, and rules & regulations.
I want to join the military. What can I do to prepare myself and what branch will best suit me?
A. You will need to sign up to take the ASVAB test. Each branch requires a specific score in order to enlist. Please see your assigned counselor regarding career choices.
What college should I go to?
