The mission of the John F. Kennedy High School Counseling Program is to cultivate each student’s academic, career, social, and emotional growth through collaboration with school, home, and the broader community. All students will use critical thinking skills gained throughout their education to realize their full potential and approach the challenges of the 21st century. We aim to create a safe and supportive environment that encourages students to be independent, empathic, and socially-aware citizens ready to make a significant impact on our diverse and rapidly changing society.
All students from John F. Kennedy High School are critical thinkers and lifelong learners who realize their full potential and are ready to meet the challenges of a global society. Our students are contributing members of their community, responsible, and respectful of cultural diversity. They demonstrate resilience, and are empathetic and compassionate towards others as well as independent and responsible adults navigating the complexities of home, career, and community.
