Industrial Phosphorus Chemistry

Welcome to P

Phosphate is a global commodity and a critical raw material at the same time. It is essential for food production and for much more. This seminar tells why!

Learn about current industrial uses from life sciences through tech to sustainable flame retardants.

Connect and discuss about the options for sustainable use and innovation with insiders.

Lecture Series on Industrial Phosphorus Chemistry

The Association for Chemistry and Economics @GDCh and the Working Group Phosphorus Chemistry are organising a lecture on Industrial Phosphorus Chemistry, on 26 October 2023, followed by additional lectures. Each lecture delivered by an expert from industry shall be preceded by a lecture of an early career researcher (doctoral researcher postdoc, habilitand, junior professor, etc.).

Starting date: 26 October 2023, end date 29 February 2024

Typical Agenda (time is German time, MEZ):

The last event on 29 February will be dedicated to the important topic on phosphorus recycling with lectures from Willem Schipper Consulting and Remondis Aqua Industrie GmbH & Co. KG.

Many thanks to our speakers and participants, who have made this lecture series a success!

Eva Hey-Hawkins and Rolf Albach
