Day of Math Fair

2026 NCCTM Central Region Math Fair Schedule:

The Central Region Math Fair will be held at the following location:

The University of North Carolina at Greensboro

School of Education Building 

1300 Spring Garden Street

Greensboro, NC  27412

9:00 – 9:45 am: Project Registration 

9:45 am: Project Display Areas are cleared; Parents and students remain in designated family areas for waiting.

10:00 am: Project Interviews Begin

12:00 pm: Awards Ceremony

Logistics: Students will wait with their parents/guardians in the appropriate waiting room until the judges call them for their project interview.  Once a math fair participant has been interviewed, they will be released back to their parent or guardian in the waiting room.  

Once judging is complete, the Awards Ceremony will begin at 12:00 pm. Once announced, students and parents may be released and are asked to clear the competition rooms.

Judge's comments will be distributed immediately following the Awards Ceremony.

Note: Families are encouraged to bring sufficient snacks and drinks for their children. Limited snacks will be available for judges and volunteers.
