Ping Pong Paddle

Before doing the racket frame I needed to do a starter project to work on wood working. That's when I decided to do a ping pong paddle because it is a racket of sorts but not nearly as complicated

Cutting out the frame

1st, I cut out the frame of the paddle using a real paddle as the outline. I learned how to use a jig saw for this process.

Cutting out the handles

2nd, I cut out the handles using the handles on the real paddle as an outline. I learned how to use a band saw for this process.

Sanding and oiling the handles

3rd, I sanded down the handles and added an oil finish. i had to learn how to use the

Glueing and clamping the handles to the frame

4th, I glued the the sanded handles to the the frame and clamped them into place.

Trimming access on the frame

last, I trimmed the wood around the handles.
