Skylar is Skylar. She thinks she's awesome, but the villains of her story disagree. The main character of the story, she really cares about Callie and protecting her. She is rather athletic and will stop at nothing to get her way.
Anne is smart. Portrayed through Skylar's eyes, she comes across as the villain. But, is she really? That's up to you to decide. Smart, though cold, Anne feels lost in the new world of the castle, as it has changed quite a bit since she last was there. Though quite familiar with the old layout of the castle, the new layout confuses her and she struggles to separate what is present from what has past.
Cady is cool and supportive. Fiercely loyal to the people she's friends with, she helps Skylar achieve her objectives.
Callie is nice. She loves to draw and being creative. She is 'friends' with both Skylar, who is one of her oldest friends, and Anne, who is a new friend.
Cameron is awesome, just not one character notices it. He is supportive and loyal. He is pretty smart. Cameron has a fascination with the castle and spends much of his free time in it.
Anne's father is rarely mentioned throughout the story, but his old presence in the Castle casts a deep, undetectable shadow over the events of the story.
The Governess is a very mysterious character throughout the story.
Logan, one of Mr. Carter's assistants, is the responsible one. He cares about this job and, while he may only be doing this to get community service credit, he still cares about it. He loves organization and the color orange.
Mr. Alexander Carter loves the castle and his suits. Not in that order. He cares deeply about protecting the castle and its artifacts. He has a strong dislike of Skylar as well as her friends in general resulting to her lack of respect in his eyes that she demonstrates to the castle. The only person exempt from this is Cameron, his nephew.
Noah, the other one of Mr. Carter's assistants, is not nearly as concerned with succeeding at his job as Logan. He desires to help Skylar, Cameron, and their friends with their various projects as he remembers what it was like to be their age. Probably the coolest character in the story, Noah owns a chill attitude and the desire to never tuck in his shirts.
