Reflection

I have always had an interest in medical research as well as biology, specifically in marine organisms. Bioluminescence is part of the natural world and is being applied to important research in medicine, specifically in cancer research. I was inspired to research more about the presence of bioluminescence in nature as well as the application of bioluminescence in the medical field after taking intensive biology. My project is based on my passion for scientific research and looking to the future implementation of natural phenomena in the progressing medical world!
