My building's exterior design is the core of my project. I wanted to be able to include all the architectural styles I love, whilst staying on task. I already had an unlimited creative license, but I wanted to stay true to my promise to work and think like a professional architect, so I tried to be practical as well. 

I wanted to keep the exterior clean and minimalistic so that the details would stand out rather than being drowned out by colors. The design choices I made were based on my research on art deco-style architecture and classic New York City buildings. So, the geometric motifs and arches were ideas I had since the beginning. However, I wanted to add my own touches and give my building uniqueness with more modern decorations. The pièce de résistance are the geodesic domes that are protruding from the sides of the building. I 3D printed them, with the help of Mr. Wong and Mr. McDonald. They represent the integration of the dawn of modernity and technology in architecture, a visual representation  of human evolution.
